• More confidence
• Increase in empathy that helps you build healthy relationships with others
• Improvement in physical health
• Helps you break the chain of harmful habits
• Creates a boost in overall happiness
• Flexible, where you only have to do what works for you

• Can be very lonely
• Isolating yourself from everyone can be challenging & affect your mental health
• Not always practically possible (let’s say if you are a salesman or a married person — isolation can be an issue)
• Temporary — you will need a deadline before going into this state
