✨The Science Behind Short & Long-Term Motivation✨

It seems that whenever we come across a temptation, our mind splits in 2.

👉One part is telling us to give in and enjoy, while the other offers rational reasons for resisting the temptation and going through with our plans/goals.

Science says that this is due to the functions of these brain parts. The limbic system (primitive brain), also known as the caveman — one directed at hunting down food and conserving energy; and the pre-frontal cortex (modern brain). Each will give us different desires and motivations.

🧠But what’s important to remember is that the modern brain is still the ultimate decision maker! We may be tired, we may be tempted, and we may feel helpless to give in to our short-term desires. But we are always in control of our actions!

What are we getting at? Studying isn’t easy, but you have the power to do it! How to make it easier? With discipline and the DISCIPLINA platform, of course!🚀
